The Public Company Search feature gives you quick, easy access to financial health insights on publicly traded companies—so you can make more informed decisions with confidence.

Whether you’re researching a company for the first time or keeping an eye on financial risk, Public Company Search helps you understand a company’s financial position using RapidRatings’ objective, data‑driven approach.

📊 What Is Public Company Search?

Public Company Search lets you look up RapidRatings’ Financial Health Ratings (FHR®) for publicly traded companies. Each rating is generated using standardized financial data, giving you a clear and consistent view of a company’s financial condition.

You can use this feature to:

  • Evaluate financial risk at a glance

  • Compare companies across industries

  • Prepare for internal conversations or reviews

  • Gain financial context before engaging with a company

⭐ Access for Basic Members

As a Basic member, you get access to 10 public company ratings of your choosing. You decide which companies matter most to you. Each time you unlock a rating, you’ll see:

  • The company’s current Financial Health Rating (FHR®)

  • Key financial indicators that support the rating

When you view a rating, your allotment will decrease by 1. Once all 10 ratings are viewed, you'll retain access to those 10 reports, but you’ll need to upgrade your membership type to view additional ratings.

In the example below, 7 ratings have been accessed and 3 searches remain. The accessed ratings remain available for monitoring.

🧭 How to Make the Most of Your 10 Ratings

Because your access is limited, it’s best to use your ratings intentionally. Members often get the most value by using them to:

  • Evaluate companies you interact with regularly
Use ratings on organizations you depend on—such as major partners, vendors, or service providers—to better understand financial stability.

  • Focus on higher‑impact relationships
Prioritize companies where financial disruption would have the greatest impact on your work or organization.

  • Compare similar companies side by side
Use ratings to assess competitors or peer companies within the same industry to understand relative financial strength.

  • Support upcoming decisions or conversations
Save ratings for moments when you need financial insight to prepare for renewals, reviews, or strategic discussions.

Taking a thoughtful approach to your selections helps ensure you get the most value from your Basic membership.
