ActionPath Sharing: A How-To Guide

This guide walks you through each ActionPath Sharing action you can take as a member. Use this article when you need the exact steps to share your ActionPath, manage client requests, or change access at any time.

Note: Sharing and approving requests requires an Essential+ subscription.


1. How to Share Your ActionPath 🚀

Use this when you want to proactively give clients access.

Steps

  1. Open your ActionPath from your supplier dashboard.

  2. Click the Share button.

    • If you’re not on Essential+, you’ll see an upgrade prompt. 🔒

  3. When the client selection window appears, choose one of the following:

    • Select specific clients, or

    • Choose Share with All to grant access to every client monitoring you.

  4. Click Confirm.

What happens next

  • Access is granted immediately.

  • Clients do not receive an email notification.

  • The client’s status becomes Granted.

  • You can revoke access anytime (see below).


2. How to Approve a Client Request 👍

Use this when a client requests access and you want to grant it.

Steps

  1. Go to the Manage Sharing section (in your ActionPath area).

  2. Locate the client with Requested status.

  3. Click Approve.

  4. Confirm the approval when prompted.

What happens next

  • The client immediately gains access.

  • They receive an approval email notification.

  • Their status updates to Granted.

  • The request disappears from your pending list.


3. How to Deny a Client Request

Use this when a client requests access and you choose not to share.

Steps

  1. Go to Manage Sharing.

  2. Find the client with Requested status.

  3. Click Deny.

  4. (Optional) Enter a denial reason.

  5. Confirm the action.

What happens next

  • The client receives a denial email notification.

  • Their status becomes Denied.

  • They may request again after 30 days.


4. How to Revoke Access 🔒

Use this when you’ve shared your ActionPath with a client but no longer want them to have access.

Steps

  1. Go to Manage Sharing.

  2. Find the client with Granted status.

  3. Click Revoke Access.

  4. Confirm the revocation.

What happens next

  • Access ends immediately.

  • The client receives a revocation email.

  • Their status becomes Revoked.

  • You can re-share anytime.


5. How to View All Client Access Statuses 📊

Use this to get a full picture of who has access to your ActionPath.

Steps

  1. Open your ActionPath.

  2. Navigate to the Manage Sharing table.

Statuses you'll see

  • Not Shared — You have not shared with this client.

  • Requested — Client is waiting for your decision.

  • Granted — Client has access.

  • Denied — You declined their request (can re‑request after 30 days).

  • Revoked — You removed their access.


6. Troubleshooting & Common Questions

Why is the Share button locked?

You must upgrade to Essential+ to share or approve requests.

Why can’t I approve a request?

You need:

  • An Essential+ subscription

  • A completed ActionPath (create one first)

Why didn’t my client receive an email when I shared?

Proactive shares intentionally do not send emails to avoid spam. Clients discover shared ActionPaths through their dashboard.

Can I share again after revoking?

Yes — anytime.
