What Happens if I Deny a Request to Share my ActionPath

Your client requested an ActionPath for a reason, lead the conversation by sharing your plans and goals via ActionPath.

You have the option to deny a client's ActionPath share request, but there are a few things to be aware of before you do.

  • Your client is notified. When you deny a request, your client receives a notification that it was declined — so the decision doesn't go unnoticed.

  • Your client can request again. Denying doesn't close the door permanently. Your client can send a new request at any time.

  • The underlying concern remains. Without context, a denial can raise more questions than the rating itself. Completing and sharing your ActionPath gives you control over the narrative and shows your client that steps are being taken.

If you're not ready to share yet, consider reaching out to your client directly to set expectations while you finalize your plan — rather than denying outright.
