An ActionPath Is a Plan, Not a Score Update
Your FHR is calculated from your actual financial data. Building an ActionPath outlines the strategies you intend to pursue, but your rating will only move once those strategies are reflected in your financials and a new FHR assessment is completed.
Your Rating Updates When You Refresh Your FHR
Once you've begun implementing your strategies, you can update your rating to see the impact reflected in your score. As your financials improve, your rating should follow.
A few things to keep in mind:
Real improvement takes time. Financial ratios shift gradually as strategies are executed — don't expect immediate movement after a single refresh.
Multiple refreshes let you track progress over time. Essential membership includes up to 4 FHR refreshes per year, so you can monitor your trajectory as you work through your plan.
Your ActionPath updates too. As your FHR changes, you can revisit and adjust your goals and strategies to reflect where you are in the process.
What Your ActionPath Does Do Right Away
While it won't immediately move your rating, a completed ActionPath delivers value from the moment it's shared:
It gives your client context and confidence while the financial work is underway
It demonstrates that you understand your position and have a concrete plan
It starts a documented record of progress you can build on over time
